Privacy policy
How Infinite Automation handles information submitted through this website and your available privacy choices.
Last updated: 21 July 2026
Infinite Automation handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy applies to this website and enquiries made through it.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide through enquiry forms, email, telephone and direct contact. This may include your name, email address, phone number, company, project location, project requirements and the content of your enquiry.
Our hosting and security providers may also process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and request logs. If you opt in to analytics, Google Analytics may process usage events such as pages visited, session timing and general device or location information.
How information is used
We use information to answer enquiries, scope and provide requested services, maintain business records, protect the website, understand performance and support relevant project discussions. We do not sell personal information or use this website for behavioural advertising.
Cookies and analytics choices
An essential first-party cookie stores your privacy choice for 12 months. Google Analytics is disabled until you select Allow analytics. You can change that choice at any time using Privacy choices in the footer. Declining optional analytics does not limit the website's core functions.
Disclosure and service providers
Information may be handled by service providers supporting website hosting, security, form delivery and business operations. If you allow analytics, information is also processed by Google. Some providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We only disclose information where reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, operate the business or comply with law.
Storage, security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access. Enquiry records are ordinarily reviewed for deletion 24 months after the last meaningful interaction unless they form part of an active project, contract, warranty record or legal obligation. Operational logs are retained for the provider's limited security window. Analytics retention is intended to be limited to 14 months. Information no longer required is deleted or de-identified where practicable.
Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to or correction of personal information we hold, withdraw optional consent, or raise a privacy concern by emailing info@infiniteautomation.com.au. Please include enough detail for us to identify the relevant information. We will acknowledge and investigate complaints within a reasonable period. If you are dissatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Policy approval
This staging policy describes the website's implemented privacy controls. Infinite Automation should obtain legal approval of the final policy, retention practices and any future analytics configuration before production launch.
